Real-time traffic data processing
INTIQ’s Traffic module contains number of components to provide data processing functionality for other modules.
Traffic module takes various data sources like traffic counters, floating car data, probe vehicle data and cellular network’s data as the input. Then it does validate, normalize, anonymize, analyze and process raw data into valuable information.
Thanks to its versatile architecture it is easy to connect almost any data source. The only measure is the decision what you or your city needs to achieve.
Traffic module is a standalone element without any tight dependencies to any other module, but it is the integration with other modules when its benefits really stand out.
Traffic already contains useful features like calculation of traffic densities, travel times, delays and much more, but the internal structure is flexible and adjustable therefore algorithms can match custom requirements of different road networks and mobility patterns.
In case you have a specific data source and have an idea what you need to achieve, it is possible to extend current Traffic functionality or use Traffic’s Open API to develop custom processing algorithm which integrates with rest of the system.
